Joe and I moved to Texas 21 years ago.  We
had three children at the time and have
thoroughly enjoyed “becoming”   Texans.     
Fourteen  years  ago  a  good friend,   
Katharine  Bolliger,   approached  me  about
doing a PTA-sponsored afterschool
enrichment class at  Deep  Wood  
Elementary.    We  began  an  annual spring  
class, the Dynamic Dinos.   Years later, work
took  Katharine’s  family  to  other  states  and  
I have continued  to  teach  at  Deep  Wood.   
The  class  has become  a  musical  theater
class entitled,  “Dramatic Dinos.”     We  
have  enjoyed  performing  a  musical version
of “Cinderella” and “Curses, Foiled Again.”  

Joe and I now have eight wonderful,  
musically-talented children.   They  all  love  
performing.   Seven years ago I decided to
start Texas Stars in the summer in my home.  
After a couple of fantastic musically-fun
summers, Texas Stars outgrew  our  home.
