Texas Stars is a Children’s Performing Group
Each child will learn to perform and increase their self-confidence on the
stage. Music has a way of encouraging us to move our bodies, share our
talents and smile through it all! We're going to have a blast together this
summer!
While enjoying a 50-minute class together once a week, each child will learn
exciting songs to perform at the end of the summer. {During the month
of August the Thursday classes will be elongated - so we can be ready to
perform!}
**Twinkling Stars is for children, ages 5-7, who love music! You'll sing
and dance, but most of all, you'll have fun! The focus is on smiling and
sharing your talents while you prepare for energetic performances at the
end of the summer...Remember, Music Rocks!
**Are you a Super Star, age 8-12, then this class is for you! You'll have a
musical good time as you dance and sing, showing off your Super Star
talent and personality. The performances of Music Rocks! will take place
at the end of a fun-filled summer!
**Are you dramatic AND musical? Then Theater Stars is for you! If
you're age 10-15, you'll have a blast playing a character, wearing a
costume and sharing your talents as you act, sing and dance.
Performances of a Time for Cinderella! at the end of the summer will give
all Texas Stars a chance to shine!
**Each student will receive a Texas Star t-shirt to wear for the
performance. They will also receive a practice CD on the first day of class
to help them in learning the songs and to enable them to practice at home.
**Classes are held on Thursdays at the Brushy Creek Community
Center. Since Texas Stars is a summer program, we realize you might be
on vacation and have to miss a class or two. Please make every effort to
have your child to every practice possible so they will feel ready to perform.
